The grapes for this remarkably well-balanced Merlot hail from the Moon vineyards in Carneros, where the heat is just right for this deeply structured Merlot.  This is the Merlot for folks who think that they don't like Merlot. 

This well-aged Merlot has  big, bold tannins that are aging down now to expose the varied and well-balanced stone fruit flavors that Jim Moon's Merlots are known for.

Grape grower Jim Moon has been growing grapes (under Helen Turley's guidance) since the 80s.
