Silver Medal Winner (at the 2009 Santa Cruz County Fair)This Chardonnay is a blend of grapes from John Bargetto's Regan vineyard and Eddie Quenneville's vineyard. The blend gives a wonderful balance of flavors that are typical of the Santa Cruz Mountains Appellation. Our Chardonnays are made the old-fashioned way, fermented in the barrel with lots of ML, giving it a buttery/oakey taste that is not at all like your typical Chardonnay. History- Harvested and whole-cluster pressed on September 6, 2008.
- Removed from gross lees and moved into 4 barrels for fermentation on September 8, 2008 for natural yeast fermentation.
