| | We believe that the wine should vary from year to year, reflecting the conditions of the vines during the season. All of our wines (except our blend) are single-varietal single-vineyard wines with no other wines blended with them. -

-
- These earlier vintages are still in the barrel, aging:
- 2007 Carneros Merlot
- Jim Moon vineyards in Carneros, where the heat is right for a Merlot with a deep structure.
- 2007 Santa Cruz Mountains Merlot
- Regan vineyards in the Santa Cruz Mountains, where the climate is just right for very long hang-time.
* - We can't call it Port anymore, since the US and the EU have a treaty in place now to protect named regions and styles, like Port, Champagne, Bordeaux, Chianti, etc. I guess we'll be call our wine made in the "Port-style" something boring like desert wine.
